Construction actually began yesterday (Tuesday) with placement of one of the two new power poles in preparation for underground utilities.

This morning, a tall evergreen next to the highway between the Cottage and All City Autobody was felled and they’re working on the grading as we speak (type!).  There are lots of pretty pink and orange stakes in our side lawn, designating our future parking lot. 

Access to the Cottage is unaffected, so come on in and pick up this week’s Free Project of the Week!

“Bling Your Bra for Breast Cancer” is a new fundraising idea for our Passionately Pink for the Cure event on October 18.  We’re offering workshops now to help people decorate a bra to submit to the contest.  Contact Melanie or Christy for workshop dates and times.  The decorated bras must be brought to Crafts Cottage no later than October 13.  Your submission will be assigned a number and be hung in the store for viewing.  The public will vote for their favorites during the PPFC event by placing their quarters in your entry’s assigned cup.
